6月のホームステイの様子
6月も半分が過ぎ、これまでに2回の週末ホームステイを行いました。毎年、久米島町の支援により、12名の小学生が私たちの英語ホームステイを体験してくれます。今年最初の2グループも本当に楽しい時間となりました。
最初のグループは男の子2人、女の子2人の4人グループでした。みんなすぐに打ち解け、英語の新しいフレーズや単語を学ぶことにとても意欲的でした。2回目のグループは仲の良い女の子4人。体験した活動のほとんどが初めての経験だったので、私たちにとってもとて
も楽しい週末になりました。牛に触れたり、洞窟探検をしたりした時の子どもたちの表情や反応は本当に素晴らしかったです。

June Homestays Are Off to a Great Start!
June is already halfway over, and we have completed two weekend homestays so far. Every year, the town of Kumejima sponsors 12 elementary school students to experience an English homestay with us. The first two groups have been an absolute joy to host.
Our first group was made up of two boys and two girls who got along well from the very beginning. They were enthusiastic about learning new English words and phrases and were always eager to try using them throughout the weekend. The second group consisted of four girls who already knew each other well. Almost every activity we did together was a first-time experience for them, which made the weekend especially exciting. Seeing their reactions while petting cows and exploring caves was priceless, and their excitement made the experience fun for everyone.
